Hello and welcome to a new product video here at WAGO. In this video I'd like to present a new product in the sector of building installation terminal blocks. My name is Andreas Brettschneider. At WAGO I'm the product manager responsible for building installation terminal blocks – that is, splicing connectors and rail-mount terminal blocks. And this video deals precisely with rail-mount terminal blocks. We've now added something new to our well-known 2003 and 2005 Series multilevel installation terminal blocks. These series were always very popular and offered a variety of benefits. And now we've integrated a push-button into the series. This means that all the versions that we've had to date in our portfolio are now available with push-buttons, as is a third version, a mixed component with push-buttons and with an operating slot. You can see this here: So, this version will have push-buttons on the external side where the building circuits are connected. The internal side, where the distribution is routed to the switching devices, will not have any push-buttons. The so-called hybrid version is now completely new and you get our entire, familiar portfolio of the 2003 and 2005 Series with all the different versions, also in these two new versions, giving you the freedom of choice of what suits you best, like the control cabinet manufacturer whose customer requests that the push-button be on the outside so that he can work with the operating slot on the inside and is ultimately able to offer the customer exactly that. And this is how it looks when it is assembled: we've installed it here. This is the version with internal disconnection on which you can see the push-button at the outlet side. The operating slot is at the internal side, so as to satisfy the customer's every need. And here is the version with disconnection on the busbar. This then is the fully assembled version with push-button. As you can see, this is a superbly set up series. You have everything that you need for individual, tailored layout of your installations. These additional versions do not make it any easier to also select the right terminal blocks. And so we've come up with something to help make this selection easier for you - a software tool available at our website that helps you select terminal blocks based on your definitions of what switching devices you are using and what wire cross sections you use for different lines. A product is selected automatically based on this information. In the next step you then have the option of using the WAGO Smart Designer Configurator. There, you get a drawing of the terminal block you've created, with all dimensions and a parts list so that you have everything at hand that you need to get started.
