Like many young men, I have been crazy about cars since I was a boy. Therefore, being able to join the racing team at university was the coolest thing. I'm Guo Junchao, a student at Tongji University. There has recently been a rapid development in vehicles with alternative propulsion technologies and also intelligent vehicles, both of which involve enormous changes in the automotive landscape. Founded in 2013, the Tongji DIAN racing team designs and constructs an electric race car each year in order to participate in the “Formula Student” competition. While speed and efficiency are naturally worthy goals, environmental protection is also a major concern for us. Although racing is a competitive sport, the racing spirit itself is marked by esprit de corps. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the racing team members, each generation of students has upgraded the DIAN race cars in terms of lightweight construction, propulsion systems, battery management systems and stability, which ensures that they run efficiently and steadily for a long time and under extreme conditions. We have been working with WAGO for several years, and the 221 Series products play a decisive role in maintaining the electrical system of our race cars. In particular, the Green Range Splicing Connectors of the 221 Series fit perfectly with our sustainability concept. In addition, we decided to use WAGO's PCB terminal blocks and connectors to optimize the assembly and maintenance of the wiring harness, which significantly improves stability under extreme conditions. I am happy to learn more about alternative drive technologies with my teammates in order to master the core technologies and achieve technological autonomy. This means giving his all on the racetrack of his youth so that he can make his dreams come true.
