WAGO IoT Boxes are preconfigured cabinet solutions that come wired on delivery and you are able to install them really quickly and have low maintenance effort in handling those. The WAGO IoT Box has many different use cases. For example, you can use it in the industry segment, where you want to gather machine data or in the building segment, where you want to get the data from your building and lights and HVAC system, for example. So you have many different use cases where it can be designed. It's dependent on the things you need. The WAGO IoT Box, especially the WAGO IoT Box Energy, got designed because of reoccurring problems our customers are having in handling their energy data. So we wanted to give an easy and scalable solution to handle your energy data, to gather them, and collect them in your controller and then also provide them for over-arching systems. The WAGO IoT Boxes, especially the WAGO IoT Box Energy, mostly get used on old machinery that didn't gather data until now, and also in older buildings that don't have an energy management system. But also, if you plan new projects, new buildings or machinery, you can design this compact solution into that and benefit from the controller and the measurement devices here. The thing that really stands out on the WAGO IoT Boxes Energy is their compact size and that they are easy to use for starters. So you don't have too much complexity because of the Compact Controller 100, all I/Os on board and on one controller. And then you just have to add in the three phase power measurement module or an MID counter you have in there. And then you are ready to go and collect your energy data.
