I´m Ville Marjamaa. I work at Škoda Group as chief designer I work as the main designer in the Tampere tram project.\h The Tampere trolley was designed at Škoda Group's Oulu office and manufactured at the Otanmäki plant in Kajaani. For the people of Tampere, the project was big and unique, because in addition to the trams, the entire infrastructure was built from scratch in a very short time. The pressure to succeed was high due to tough demands, a tight schedule, and high expectations from both the customer and local people. Things just had to get to the finish line. Due to high expectations, Škoda Group was also chosen as the supplier of the tram, and we also had to choose the most reliable and flexible suppliers. Wago was selected as the supplier because the technologies and approvals were very well suited to the requirements and Wago has strong roots in the railways. The choice was also influenced by expertise, flexibility and the ability to customize products. We are very pleased with WAGO's products and cooperation.\h In the end, I'm really happy with the result and very proud of the success and passion of my own team to do only the best.
